Achieving Your Childhood Dreams

Carnegie Mellon Professor Randy Pausch gave his last lecture at the university Sept. 18, 2007, before a packed McConomy Auditorium. In his moving presentation, "Really Achieving Your Childhood Dreams," Professor Pausch talked about his lessons learned and gave advice to students on how to achieve their own career and personal goals.

Sadly, Professor Pausch passed away recently, after a lengthy battle with pancreatic cancer. Despite his grim diagnosis, or perhaps inspite of it, he managed to inspire millions of us around the world with his poignant, funny and inspiring "last lecture".

I challenge all of you to watch this video without being motivated to positive action in your lives. It's impossible. Prof. Pausch delivered a lasting legacy with this lecture. My thoughts go out to his family and to those who knew and loved him. Rest in peace.
